Congressman Joseph Crowley (D-NY) said he was concerned about the pardon Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has given to Abdul Qadeer Khan and wondered what will prevent proliferation of nuclear secrets from Pakistan again.
Congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) said it was
disconcerting to note that Khan has been pardoned. He called for U.S. and international monitoring of Pakistan’s nuclear program and urged the
administration to reimpose sanctions.
